Short and to the point, there is no such thing as a Louis Vuitton Outlet. Sorry to disappoint you but Louis Vuittion is probably the only high end designer that NEVER goes on sale and does not do the outlet thing. I have traveled to many places shopping for designer goods.
One of my favorite outlet malls is Woodbury Common Premium Outlets located upstate New York. There you will find all of the high end designer stores like Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Chanel, Dior, Chloe, Dolce & Gabana, Ferragamo and many, many others.
The first time I discovered this jewel of an outlet I thought to my self. If there is no Louis Vuitton outlet here…one doesn't exist…
I've sent a friend shopping for me to the outlet mall in Florence Italy. She found many of the same stores we have in the U.S. plus many others but one store she did not find is a Louis Vuitton outlet.
We honestly didn't expect to find a one (because I know they don’t exist).
I think when I bought a Louis Vuitton and Gucci handbag in Europe some years ago I got the tax back at customs or something like that, but that was about it!
So why don’t Louis Vuitton have an outlet store?
Because they want to stay exclusive and quite frankly they don’t have to go on sale or have an outlet because the brand sells just fine.
Louis Vuitton is one of the most sought after designer handbags on the market. They never go on sale; in fact they go up in price annually.
The fact that there’s no Louis Vuitton Outlet may be the down side for the Louie fan hoping to score an authentic Louis Vuitton for a great price at a reputable dealer, but there is good news.
With a little searching and creativity you can make your own unique Louis Vuitton Outlets...well sort of. How? By searching for gently used items.
There are websites and thrift stores where people who (believe it or not) get tired of their designer bags or maybe just need the cash and have to sell.
Now, I’m not saying the items are brand new because nine times out of ten they won’t be, but either way these little secret places can be a way for you to make your own Louis Vuitton sale.
And one of my favorite online sites to shop for pre-owned luxury handbags is Portero. Not only Louis Vuitton either, they have just about every luxury item you can think of, even vintage!
But...If you must have the real thing and must have it brand new, there is always the Louis Vuitton store or a reputable department store like Saks or Neiman Marcus.
If you don’t have any of these stores in your area go to louisvuitton.com to shop. Basically these are the only stores I can guarantee you will get a new, authentic Louie Vuitton bag.
Another option to get your hands on the latest Louis Vuitton handbags is to rent them. Yes you can actually rent the latest looks in designer handbags and jewelry for as long as you like with the option to purchase later!
One of my favorite sites for this is Bag Borrow or Steal you can borrow or purchase gently used designer accessories at great prices.
Oh, and I can’t forget about another one of my favorites, Beyond The Rack this site is a little different where you have to sign up with your email address and you receive emails when they’re having special sales that usually lasts for 3 days..
For example, they may have Louis Vuitton handbags, Gucci handbags, shoes, jewelry etc. it’s a fun way to shop and the deals are fantastic.
Just a couple weeks ago they were selling Louis Vuitton handbags and the infamous Keepall and all of the bags were under $500.00!
